Anexis have announced their withdrawal from the SLTV StarSeries league.
The Danish team were sitting 11th in the standings' table on three points after defeating zNation and losing to Hawks in their first two games.
However, they have been forced to pull out of the tournament after René "cajunb" Borg's computer broke down shortly before DreamHack Winter, which left the team without a suitable player for the league.
"We did not have the time to play that many matches, since René's PC has broken down and our sixth player has no intentions of playing five days a week," Casper "ruggah" Due told HLTV.org.
"We prioritised finishing the leagues/tournaments we have played in the longest. We hope the best for the StarLadder.TV tournament and hopefully we will be back some day.
"It was not an easy decision, since we very looking forward to a LAN in Ukraine."
Just like it happened with fm-eSports TOXiC and Tribute To Sylvester, Anexis have been banned from all future tournaments organised by SLTV StarSeries and all their matches, including those that have been played, will result in 1-0 forfeit losses for them.
Anexis were last week on show at DreamHack Winter, where they crashed out in the group stage with three draws from as many games.
